Fully Funded International Scholarship in New Zealand
The New Zealand Aid Programme offers several different types of scholarship. Most are for full-time tertiary study in New Zealand. Other scholarship types are for study in a Pacific Island Country university or for shorter-term training vocational or English language training.
There are four types of scholarships for full-time tertiary level study in New Zealand:
- New Zealand Pacific Scholarships
- New Zealand Development Scholarships
- New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Awards
- New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships
In addition to this, there is one scholarship type for full-time tertiary level study at a Pacific Island University:
Two other scholarship types are also available for shorter term training:
- Short Term Training Scholarships: are for short-term (up to one year) professional development or vocational training in New Zealand. These are currently available to citizens of selected Pacific Island and ASEAN countries.
- English Language Training for Officials (ELTO): aims at increasing the English language capacity of government officials in Asia and Africa.
