Overview

We invite you to join the course on Project Management for Youth Organizations which will be held in Moscow from 4th March till11th March 2018!

Details

During the course participants will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of project management. They will learn how to write a project charter, how to determine project objectives, and how to assess risks. They will be introduced to the theory of budgeting. In addition to fundamentals of project management participants will have sessions on how to prepare a high-quality business plan, business model canvases will be introduced.
The course is designed for workers of youth organisations, who would like to improve their project management skills. After the course you will understand better how to design projects and implement them at the highest level.
Workers of youth organisations with experience in implementing projects are invited to the course, as well as young people who have never designed own projects but would like to start.
The course will provide the necessary tools and knowledge on how to design projects and implement plans. If you have never implemented your own projects but would like to get started – this course is definitely for you!
The course will take place in Moscow! In addition to the actual content of the course the participants will have the time and opportunity to visit the city centre and see Red Square, Kremlin and other famous places! At the end of the course participants will be provided with certificates confirming attendance of the course on project management.
If you always wanted to create your own projects – to organize international trainings, seminars or do any other projects – but did not know how to start – this course is for you!
The program of the course is based on PMP (Project Management Professional) methodology. In addition to that we use some aspects taught within the modern MBA courses such as business model canvas and other concepts. We also include in the course the fundamentals of Lean Start-up theory – MVP (minimum viable product).
The course includes the foundations of Project management – the participants will learn how to write project charter, determine project objectives. The participants will be taught how to prepare the stakeholders register, how to assess the risks and prepare the risk register. They will also learn other elements of the project management theory.

We do not have any age or geographical limits for the applicants. Person of any age from any country is welcome to apply for the course.

Visa
Nationals of the most of the countries need a visa to enter to Russia. If you are not sure if you need a visa or not – please send us an email letting us know which nationality you have and we will be happy to advice you if you need a visa or not.
If you need a visa – we will send you a visa invitation. Please note visa invitation is not a visa. With the visa invitation which you will receive from us, you will still need to go to the Russian Consulate and apply for a visa.

Price
The fee for the course is 490 euro.
The fee includes:
  • The program of the course (including all necessary study materials)
  • The accommodation (in the comfortable training center in Moscow)
  • Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee-breaks)
  • Transfer
  • Visa invitation (which you will need to bring to the Russian Consulate in order to apply for a visa)
Unfortunately we are not able to provide any scholarships.
Accommodation
The accommodation during the event will be provided in a unique location – a modern comfortable training center. Participants will sleep and have sessions at the same building! The training center is located in the south of Moscow (so called New Moscow area).
The training center consists on 8 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large common room for the sessions. In addition to the standard facilities the training center is equipped with Jacuzzi that can be used by participants, the fire place where participants can gather in the evenings together, terrace and other facilities which will make the stay comfortable.
The training center in New Moscow is not just a building! It was constructed with the intention to give participants the feeling of the community together! To facilitate informal contacts among participants outside of the sessions. To activate the creativity
Fully equipped kitchen and the place for BBQing are also available for the participants.
In case of the good weather the outside area can be used by participants as well.
The stay at the training center in New Moscow provides unique experience enhancing the learning process!
